We will send the leather to a specialized skiving company from our Osaka head office. After it returns from processing, we will send it to your designated address, so it will take approximately 2-5 business days.

【Scratches due to skiving】

Skiving adjusts the thickness of the leather, but due to the nature of the machinery, scratches, dirt, and variations in thickness may occur.

In the event of problems caused by skiving, our shop cannot provide a guarantee under any circumstances. Therefore, if you wish to request processing, please review the examples below and proceed with your request only after understanding them.

Examples of Skiving Problems

• Thickness differs from desired (an error of about 0.1-0.3mm may occur)
• Machine oil or dirt on the grain surface
• Scratches from the machine
• Uneven skiving on the flesh side
• Holes in the leather (when a thickness of 1.0mm or less is specified)
• Foreign objects such as barbed wire fragments remaining in the leather damage the blade and scratch the entire surface of the leather.
